Workshop „Innovative Chemical Utilization of Carbon and Renewable Resources for a Circular Carbon Economy“

The workshop provides a leading platform to promote intensive exchanges regarding new and innovative developments for the sustainable chemical utilization of carbon and renewable resources for a circular carbon economy. International developments and perspectives in particularly from China, Poland and Germany will be shared between science and industry. Topics to be discussed at the workshop:

Innovative Chemical Utilization of Fossil and Renewable Resources

Alternative routes for chemical production, e.g. Coal-to-Chemicals, Waste-to-Chemicals, Syngas/CO2-to-Chemicals, Power-to-Chemicals, generation and integration of renewable “green” hydrogen

Innovative conversion processes, e.g. gasification and gas cleaning, pyrolysis and carbon products, electrolysis, fuel cell, microwave, plasma, catalysts and catalytic processes

Innovative carbon products, e.g. chemicals, fuels, carbon fibers, carbon nanotubes, ultra clean carbon, high end hydrocarbon products

System integration and life cycle assessment e.g. coupling of energy, chemical and waste management sectors

National and international drivers and barriers for a circular carbon economy
