Research Focus

 

  • Protein analysis using mass spectrometry (proteomics) for the identification, quantification, and characterization of proteins in complex samples
  • Development of biomedical material systems for applications in regenerative medicine
  • Biocompatibility testing and cellular interaction analyses using microbiological and immunological methods as well as confocal microscopy
  • Surface modification and coating for the targeted reduction of inflammatory reactions, including for implant coatings
