New Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Hydrogen in South Korea

Jointly with Korean scientists, the Fraunhofer IMWS has been conducting research on the import of green hydrogen since 2020. The Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Hydrogen Energy at the Korea Institute of Energy Technology FIP-H2ENERGY@KENTECH will now provide the foundation for a more enhanced cooperation with partners in South Korea.

Guidelines for hydrogen safety

A hydrogen safety guide that can be used for future hydrogen projects has been developed by experts as part of a joint research project of the "Hydrogen Power Storage & Solutions East Germany - HYPOS" initiative. 

Future international logistics for the import of green hydrogen

Together with Korean research partners, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems IMWS are investigating and researching the possibilities and requirements of a future import of green hydrogen.

Safe and lightweight high-pressure tanks for the storage and transport of green hydrogen

Green hydrogen plays a key role for the energy revolution because it can comprise the unifying element between the electricity, mobility, and industrial sectors. For this potential to be revealed, efficient processes for the storage and transportation of green hydrogen are necessary.

Hydrogen Labs
