- Concept development of protective and rescue measures for patients in CBRN and MANV hazard situations
- Material characterization of protective materials using spectroscopic methods (including FTIR), microscopic analysis methods, and mechanical testing methods to evaluate functional and structural material properties
- Interdisciplinary linking of material development and material analysis to transfer material science findings into practical protective systems
