  • Development, adaptation, and optimization of protective materials for the CBRN sector, with a focus on protective textiles, personal protective equipment (PPE), and material-based solutions for transport and supply systems
  • Concept development of protective and rescue measures for patients in CBRN and MANV hazard situations
  • Material characterization of protective materials using spectroscopic methods (including FTIR), microscopic analysis methods, and mechanical testing methods to evaluate functional and structural material properties
  • Interdisciplinary linking of material development and material analysis to transfer material science findings into practical protective systems
