Directions to Fraunhofer CAM

The Fraunhofer Center for Applied Microstructure Diagnostics CAM is located at Heideallee 19, 06120 Halle (Saale). Please drive to Gimritzer Damm up to the crossing Gimritzer Damm/Blücherstraße. Continue straight ahead. The Fraunhofer CAM is located at the end of the Gimritzer Dam before the roundabout on the right hand side.

From western direction:

Follow B 80 in direction »Magdeburg/Klinikum Kröllwitz/Universität« (Weinbergweg) until crossing Gimritzer Damm/Blücherstraße, turn left onto Blücherstraße and follow the street until the end. Then turn right onto Walter-Hülse-Straße and follow the street approx. 350m to the Fraunhofer-Institute on the right hand side of the street.

Other directions (Autobahn A9, A 14):

Leave the A 9 at the exit Halle, the A 14 at the exit Halle-Peißen, follow the signs to »Zentrum« and »Halle-Neustadt/Eisleben (Riebeckplatz)«, leave the street after crossing the bridge over the river Saale at the exit Gimritzer Damm and follow the signs to »Magdeburg/Klinikum Kröllwitz/Universität (Weinbergweg)« until crossing Gimritzer Damm/Blücherstraße, continue as from western direction.

 

By train to Halle main station. From the stops Hauptbahnhof or Riebeckplatz take tram 4 or 5 in the direction of Kröllwitz, get off at the stop "Weinberg Campus" (the stop in front of it is called "Gimritzer Damm"). Journey time about 15 minutes.
