Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems IMWSThe Service and Transfer Center for Chemical and Biosystems Engineering in Central Germany (LTZ CBS) is a transnational platform for knowledge and technology transfer initiated by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, which promotes sustainable innovation from research within industry. The activities of the LTZ CBS focus on the Central German economic area and here especially on small and medium-sized enterprises. In cooperation with research institutions, innovative transfer services are provided and promoted in a targeted manner. This connection of non-university research institutions with universities/universities and industry creates synergies and new opportunities for the sustainable further development of entire sectors and branches of industry.
