Simulation

Process simulation for analyzing the microstructure of fiber-reinforced polymer housing materials in the field of electrodes.

Simulations are computer-based models or replicas of real systems or processes. They are used at Fraunhofer IMWS to virtually investigate the behavior and properties of a system without having to carry out physical experiments.

Simulations can be used in various fields, such as

  • science
  • technology
  • economics
  • medicine
  • and many others.

They enable scenarios to be analyzed, predictions to be made, decisions to be taken, and complex systems to be better understood.
